That our current healthcare system is economically unsustainable and in a period of important transition. In coming years we will see increasing consolidation and integration of healthcare entities, greater emphasis on population health across the continuum of care, and accelerated shifts away from traditional fee-for-service models towards bundling, risk contracting, and value-based reimbursement.
We believe that the radiology service line occupies a unique strategic position within health systems by virtue of its broad interfaces across the clinical care spectrum. Significant and sustainable value opportunities exist in promoting collaboration between radiology and hospitals/health systems.
We believe there needs to be greater integration of radiology into the larger healthcare team. Aligned relationships will offer advantages to radiologists, hospitals, health systems, integrated physician networks, accountable care organizations, and most importantly patients.
As an co-management company, we partner with radiology groups and hospitals/hospital systems to maximize the value of imaging for the patient and the healthcare enterprise.
We do not provide radiologist "reads" or other clinical services.
